Prefer to type it out? Open the “Ask a question” button in the corner and describe what happened in your own words, in English or Korean.
Just lost money? Do these four things first
Before anything else, protect what can still be protected. Then come back and report.
- Call your bank or card company now
Ask them to freeze the card, stop or recall the transfer, and dispute the charges. Minutes matter.
- Stop all contact with the scammer
Do not send more money, even if they promise refunds or threaten you. "Fees" to recover money are part of the scam.
- Save the evidence
Screenshots, messages, phone numbers, receipts, envelopes, wallet addresses. Do not delete anything yet.
- Protect your accounts
Change passwords from a safe device and consider a free credit freeze if personal information was exposed.
